    Rhinoplasty In Singapore

    Frequently Asked
    Questions

Will I need to have a follow-up procedure for touch-ups?

Due to the potential risk of the nose swelling during the procedure, some patients may require a follow-up procedure for touch-ups. You may consult your plastic surgeon regarding the potential need for a follow-up procedure.

What’s the difference between rhinoplasty and septoplasty?
    • Rhinoplasty is a procedure for improving the appearance and/or structure of your nose.
    • A Septoplasty is focused on improving the internal structure of your nose for breathing.
    Is Rhinoplasty painful?

No. During your procedure, you will be under local or general anaesthesia. You may experience swelling, slight pain, bruising, and even headaches after your procedure. For further inquiries, you may consult your plastic surgeon regarding the most suitable treatment plan for your condition and aesthetic requirements.

Are there any visible scars from Rhinoplasty?

A close rhinoplasty is performed with incisions inside your nose and there is typically no visible scarring. If your plastic surgeon uses an open technique, there may be small scars on the base of the nose. Any major scarring will start to fade after one week.
